1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Foxxy Flashcards, a product of The CodeCave GmbH, Alfred-Nobel-Straße 29, 50226 Frechen, Deutschland ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Foxxy Flashcards is a digital flashcard application that uses spaced repetition algorithms and gamification to help students learn more effectively. The Service is available as a mobile application and web interface.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
• One person per account; account sharing is not permitted

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all flashcard content you create. By using the sharing features, you grant other users the permissions you explicitly set (Viewer, Editor, Manager). We do not claim ownership of your content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the application
• Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service
• Share offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content through deck sharing

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Foxxy offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly at the current rate (€4.99/month). You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of your billing period. Refunds are handled per applicable consumer protection law.

7. Limitation of Liability

Foxxy Flashcards is provided "as is". While we strive for reliability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for data loss beyond what is required by applicable law. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Köln, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
